1st of September 2022: International Day of Struggle against Fascism and War - International unity of workers - active for world peace
20 August 2022: With the Ukraine war the danger of a 3rd world war has enormously intensified. In Europe, the military alliance NATO and Russia, the leading nuclear powers (about 6,000 nuclear warheads each!) are bitterly confronting each other in this unjust imperialist war. On August 6, the day the first nuclear bomb was dropped in Hiroshima, Japan in 1945, tens of thousands took to the streets this year in many countries against the threat of nuclear war. The worldwide expansion of nuclear power plants despite the last catastrophic experience in Fukushima serves not least the military nuclear armament.
Let's make August 6, 2022 – Hiroshima Day – a worldwide day of struggle against war
Resolution of the webinar of the anti-imperialist and anti-fascist united front "Struggle against nuclear death" with 95 participants from 20 countries on July 24, 2022:
NATIONAL LEADERS OF SI COBAS ARRESTED: A NEW, HIGHLY REPRESSIVE ATTACK ON UNIONS AND WORKERS' STRUGGLES
The national coordinator of the rank-and-file union SI Cobas has been placed under house arrest, together with three union organisers in the city of Piacenza, and two local organisers of the USB union. They are charged with "criminal association","private violence" (i.e. picketing warehouses during strikes), resistance to public official, sabotage and interruption of public service, in order to achieve advantages for the union members over and above the national collective agreement, and to achieve personal advantages. This attack is aimed at isolating combative workers of the logistic sector - who have carried out a long wave of strikes in the last decade, organised with SI Cobas - from the rest of the working class in a moment when wages are being battered by inflation spurred by the war and a strong, generalised struggle is needed. The state judicial and police apparatus also aim at criminalising strikes and pickets, and restoring monopoly powers for the official unions that have become a pillar of the system and are supporting the bosses' governments. Logistic workers have given a strong response with a general strike and demonstrations in more than a dozen cities. Next Saturday a national demonstration in Piacenza.

This was announced exactly on the day when the car/van plants of Daimler, which have been spun off since November 2021, were lulled into alleged security with new alleged "assurances for the future". There you can clearly see what the separation aimed at and always aims at.
