The national coordinator of the rank-and-file union SI Cobas has been placed under house arrest, together with three union organisers in the city of Piacenza, and two local organisers of the USB union. They are charged with "criminal association","private violence" (i.e. picketing warehouses during strikes), resistance to public official, sabotage and interruption of public service, in order to achieve advantages for the union members over and above the national collective agreement, and to achieve personal advantages. This attack is aimed at isolating combative workers of the logistic sector - who have carried out a long wave of strikes in the last decade, organised with SI Cobas - from the rest of the working class in a moment when wages are being battered by inflation spurred by the war and a strong, generalised struggle is needed. The state judicial and police apparatus also aim at criminalising strikes and pickets, and restoring monopoly powers for the official unions that have become a pillar of the system and are supporting the bosses' governments. Logistic workers have given a strong response with a general strike and demonstrations in more than a dozen cities. Next Saturday a national demonstration in Piacenza.

Internationally United - Workers of Corporate Group All Together - One Struggle!

5 July 2022: Dear colleagues, on Wednesday, June 29, the workforce of the EVO bus plant (subsidiary of Daimler Truck) in Mannheim in Germany went up from 1:30 p.m on independent strike against the announcement to relocate the body shop to the Czech Republic. This was announced exactly on the day when the car/van plants of Daimler, which have been spun off since November 2021, were lulled into alleged security with new alleged "assurances for the future". There you can clearly see what the separation aimed at and always aims at.

On International Women's Day, let's keep up the militant fight!

13 February 2022: ICOG Call for March 8, 2022: Since 2021, all over the world, especially for women in the poorest countries, there are bitter effects of the deepening misery due to the economic and environmental crisis. The general increase in prices, the lack of jobs and food mean hunger and hardship for poor families. The effects of the transition to climate catastrophe, such as the deforestation of the Amazon jungle, or regional environmental disasters, undermine livelihoods worldwide. Women and children suffer particularly. Their dignity is often trampled underfoot in the global refugee movement, which has grown to over 80 million.
