Solidarity greetings to UAW colleagues on strike from the colleagues of the International Automobile Workers' Coordination in Braunschweig and Wolfsburg - Germany

Dear colleagues of the UAW, We colleagues from Volkswagen-Wolfsburg stand in solidarity with your impressive strike against the big three (Ford, GM and Stellantis) and wish you continued strength and success! We car workers have to stick together worldwide, we must not let ourselves be divided.

Your demands for a 36% wage increase over 4 years and a 32-hour week with full wage compensation are fully justified.

In Germany, too, inflation is eating up the far too small wage increase. There is a threat of massive job cuts because Volkswagen wants to increase its profits. Hundreds of temporary workers have already been dismissed. Instead of giving up for profit of Volkswagen, we must take up the struggle for every job and for a reduction of working hours with full wage compensation.

Your struggle is our struggle! Hail to international solidarity.

We have announced your strike at Volkswagen-Wolfsburg and 25 colleagues have signed a solidarity address.
